Contest Theme: Submit a video or audio recording (1 minute or less) of you or your group (up to 5 total group members) singing an original jingle composition for Springer Mountain Farms Chicken (http://springermountainfarms.com).

Five Finalists will be determined by judges and be posted online for the public to vote for their favorites. The public’s votes will be combined with a panel of judges' votes to select the Grand Prize winning entry.

1. ELIGIBILITY: Open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and Washington, DC who are 8 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees or immediate family members of WSM-AM, Springer Mountain Farms and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, and parent companies are not eligible.

2. CONTENT: Write and perform an original jingle for Springer Mountain Farms Chicken (up to 60 seconds in length) in English, on a DVD or CD that will play in a standard DVD/CD player or an electronic file (permitted formats listed in section three). The jingle and video must be family friendly. Entries can be submitted electronically or by mail. See below for submission guidelines.

Jingle must include the following:

· “Springer Mountain Farms Chicken”

· “Great Care. Great Taste”

· “100% All Natural”

At least one of the following should be mentioned:

· Our chickens are fed an all vegetable diet

· Our chicken is “American Humane Certified”

· No Antibiotics, No Chemical Medicines

· We are a family owned business located in the beautiful mountains of Northeast Georgia

Jingle may not include any explicit or vulgar language. Any jingle deemed offensive can and will be disqualified. Jingle must be no longer than 60 seconds in length. It must include music. Jingle must be produced in English.

3. HOW TO ENTER: Entry must be submitted via one of the following methods:

· By Mail: Create a video or CD (up to one minute in length) of you or your group (up to 5 total group members) performing your original jingle composition for Springer Mountain Farms Chicken, on a CD or DVD that will play in a standard VHS or CD players. Mail the CD or DVD along with a completed Official Entry Form (available to download and print at www.wsmonline.com) to: WSM-AM, ATTN: Jingle Contest, 2804 Opryland Drive, Nashville, TN 37214, to be received by 5 PM CST on June 13, 2008. Limit one mailed entry per outer mailing envelope. The CD or DVD must be labeled with entrant’s name and contact information. Entries received without the Official Entry Form will be disqualified.

· By E-mail: Send to jingle@wsmonline.com. All entries must be accompanied by a completed Official Entry Form (available to download and print at www.wsmonline.com). Audio file types permitted include .MP3, .WMA, and .WAV. Video file types permitted include .AVI, .MOV, .WMV, and .MPG. Files that are not one of the permitted file types will be automatically disqualified. The file must be labeled with entrant’s name and contact information. Entries must be received by 5 PM CST on June 13, 2008. Entries received without the Official Entry Form will be disqualified. PLEASE NOTE: If your file is larger than 10 Megabytes, it will be rejected by our server and will not be received.

· By Electronic Upload: If your song or video file is larger than 10 Megabytes, it will be rejected by the e-mail server and will not be received. In this case, you can either send the file by postal mail, or upload to one of the following sites: www.youtube.com, www.yousendit.com, www.sendspace.com. After uploading, please email the link with your Official Entry Form attached to jingle@wsmonline.com. Audio file types permitted include .MP3, .WMA, and .WAV. Video file types permitted include .AVI, .MOV, .WMV, and .MPG. Files that are not one of the permitted file types will be automatically disqualified. The e-mail must include entrant’s name and contact information. E-mails must be received by 5 PM CST on June 13, 2008. Entries received without the Official Entry Form will be disqualified.

If entrant is a minor, entries must be submitted with permission of the legal parent or guardian by providing their contact information on the Official Entry Form. Exclusion of this information is subject to forfeiture of prize. If entering as a group, only one entry per group can be submitted. Group may not consist of more than five members. You must appoint a Group Leader to whom any correspondence will be sent and who will be responsible for responding to any necessary paperwork/requests, including obtaining parental/legal guardian permission for any group member who is a minor (if Group Leader is a minor, correspondence will be sent to his/her parent/legal guardian). You/your group may enter as often as you wish, but each entry must be different and submitted separately and must be accompanied by a completed Official Entry Form.

If entering as a solo entry, only one contestant is allowed in the video; if entering as a group, only the group members (up to 5) are allowed to perform on the DVD or CD (no one else can be visible or heard). Lip-synching, pre-recorded music or music playing outside of the video image is not permitted. Any musical accompaniment must be performed live by a contestant(s) (not pre-recorded), while recording entry. Music must be the original work of the entrant or group and not the work of a third party. If a performance is longer than 60 seconds, only the first 60 seconds will be judged. Entries become the sole property of Springer Mountain Farms and will not be returned. Failure to comply with any entry requirements or any other Official Rule will result in disqualification.

By submitting an entry you or your group, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Springer Mountain Farms and WSM-AM have the right to produce and use the jingle at its discretion, including playing it on the Springer Mountain Farms and/or WSM-AM websites and using it for any and all promotional purposes. Springer Mountain Farms and WSM-AM also has the right to use the entrant’s name and city of residence. Springer Mountain Farms and WSM-AM will not give out the entrant’s address, telephone number, or e-mail address without the entrant’s specific prior approval. Failure to comply with any entry requirements or any other Official Rule will result in disqualification.

4. FINALIST JUDGING: All eligible entries will be judged under the supervision of Judges to determine the top five scoring entries. Judging will be based on the following criteria:

· Style and Creativity

· Suitability to be a Springer Mountain Farms official jingle

· Overall Performance

· Ability to tie-in with Springer Mountain Farms official sponsorship of “Bluegrass Nights at the Ryman” concert series

Finalists will be notified by phone and/or e-mail. Judges and Sponsor reserve the right to disqualify any entry that, in their sole opinion, refers, depicts, or in any way reflects negatively upon Springer Mountain Farms, the promotion or any other person or entity.

5. WINNER DETERMINATION/ VOTING PERIOD: Beginning on or about June 16 and ending on or about June 20, the top five Final entries will be posted online at www.wsmonline.com and voters of any age will have the opportunity to vote for the Winning entry. At the end of the voting period, the online votes will be combined with a panel of Judges’ votes to select the Grand Prize winner. The Grand Prize Winner will be announced and contacted on approximately June 23^rd.

6. PRIZES & APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES: The following prizes will be awarded to the winning entry:

· A Cash Prize of $1,000 (To be delivered in check form within 2 to 4 weeks after appropriate paperwork has been submitted by winner)

· One Year’s Worth Supply of Springer Mountain Farms Chicken (To be delivered in form of 52 Certificates which can be redeemed at local grocers. Total Value of $500)

· A Season Pass for the 2008 Springer Mountain Farms Bluegrass Nights at the Ryman Concert Series (Two tickets for each show. Six shows total. Total Value of $300)

7. GENERAL RULES: Void where prohibited by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. No substitution or transfer of prize by winner permitted. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and alternate selection, if time permits. By entering, contestants consent to the use of their original entry as well as their name/likeness, to be available to the public online or in other media including but not limited to television, radio and magazines for publicity, advertising and promotional purposes without additional right of approval or compensation. Use of entry for any of the purposes previously stated does not in any way constitute Finalist or Winner status of that entry and should not be interpreted as such. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value. Sponsor reserves the right to: (a) use contestant’s name and likeness and reproduce/distribute all entries submitted in any and all media throughout the world in perpetuity, (b) alter, amend, edit or change entries prior to distribution and (c) use, distribute, reproduce, alter, amend and copyright entries for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Sponsor is not responsible for misdirected or undeliverable e-mail messages or for any technical problems, malfunctions of any telephone lines, cell phones, computer systems, servers, providers, hardware/software, lost or unavailable network connections or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission or any combination thereof. Sponsor and its affiliated companies will not be responsible for lost, late, or misdirected entries.
