marcia campbell

With a lifelong love of country music, Marcia’s broadcasting career started in the early 90’s in her hometown of Dickson, TN.   She quickly moved on to host a nationally syndicated show for the Interstate Radio Network, also heard on 650 AM WSM.   As her popularity grew, so did her loyal audience.  After eight years on Sirius and XM trucking channels, Marcia is back home on 650 AM to host “The WSM All Nighter” show.   Her theme song “All Nighter Coming” was co-written for her by her friend, multiple Grammy Award winner, Country Music Hall of Fame member and Grand Ole Opry star, Vince Gill.   As a musician, singer and songwriter herself, she has a deep respect for those she interviews.

Marcia has been square dancing on the Grand Ole Opry since she was 13. Her dancing talents have taken her around the world, but you can see her perform every Saturday night on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry. You can actually hear her dance on songs like “Shady Grove” by Ricky Skaggs and Dolly Parton’s “He’s Gonna Marry Me.” But the best way to hear her bright, positive, magnetic personality is when the microphone opens each and every Monday through Friday between midnight and 5:30 a.m.
